 " Collectors and Connoisseurs of Sevres Porcelain have always considered it to be the finest ceramic art product made in Europe during the XVIII.th century. The origin of The Sevres Porcelain was the Vincennes factory, which was established in 1738, but in 1756 the factory was transferred to Sevres and received its name of " Manufacture Royale de Sévres ". The Royal patronage dates back to 1753, when Louis XV became greatly interested in the factory, and thencefordward all the finest chemical experts, potters, decorators, artists and gilders were employed in the production of the porcelain.
